Bhatoa, Owner at P&B Foods comments,
“Following our continued growth, we knew we needed to make the additional investment
in the IT infrastructure that would help us manage sustainable growth. Having
worked with TouchStar on previous technology rollouts, we knew that they were
competitively priced and offered a high level of expertise and the localised support
which was of particular importance to us. Not only were they able to help us
select the right hardware, but they also worked closely with us during the
trial and proof of concept phase giving us full confidence that we would be
investing in a reliable and futureproof solution”.
The technology rollout
recommended by TouchStar was Zebra’s TC22 handheld and their own in house
manufactured TS7200 rugged truck mounted computers.
Rugged by design, the TC22
with integrated pistol grip offered P&B Foods with a lightweight, reliable,
and ergonomically designed hardware solution. The TS7200, offers a robust
touchscreen and fully capacitive QWERTY keyboard to deliver performance in the harshest
of environments. Always connected, both devices needed to integrate with the company’s
in house warehouse management software to enable
real time accuracy and efficiency within their picking functions.
Sales Director for TouchStar comments, “With over three decades of experience supporting the
rollout for mobile computing solutions for warehouse environments, we were
thrilled to have the opportunity of maintaining our longstanding relationship
with P&B. We feel that in both recommended devices, we will be delivering a
fit for purpose solution that will continue to deliver real operational
benefits to the business. We look forward to supporting another
successful hardware rollout with the business”.
